Summit Series: Success Despite Storm

We wouldn’t let Hurricane Debby be the downer that she so desperately wanted to be. On Friday, August 9th, Trampoline held its first Summit Series conference, a unique take on a marketing conference in which we took to the trail to talk, both business and personal, build relationships and answer questions.

Despite the torrential rains and soggy outlook, the clouds let up for our walk up Bradley’s Lookout in Bolton Landing, allowing for stunning views of Lake George. And while some of our group couldn’t make it because of the weather, we still had a large contingent of people, both clients and others, that sought conversation, networking, and a little adventure.

After our hike, we walked back to the Bolton Community Center for some hot pizza and wings from The Pizza Shop in Warrensburg, cracked some drinks from BEVS and Post Time Wine & Spirits, and continued into a spirited happy hour while the rain continued to fall outside.

At the end of the day, we felt that the event was a success. Much like marketing and advertising, the show must go on despite any bumps in the road. And while we spend the majority of our time in front of screens, meeting in person and getting out into nature proved to be a winning combination, no matter the weather.

Thanks to all those that were able to make this summer’s Summit Series—stay tuned as we work to plan similar events throughout the year.
